Tenants

  • When can I schedule a showing?

Please contact us to schedule a showing. Include the dates and times that work best for you, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

  • Who needs to fill out an application?

Each adult applicant must complete the required rental application. Review the application requirements, fee amount, and applicable refund terms shown in DoorLoop before submitting or paying. Contact us first if you have questions.

  • Do you run background checks?

Yes. As part of your rental application, we will be requesting background checks from TransUnion that include a criminal, eviction, and credit history.

If you have any concerns about what may be on the background check, please discuss this with us prior to paying for the rental application.

  • Do you require a security deposit?

Yes. The security deposit is equal to one month’s rent unless otherwise stated for a specific property.

  • How long is the lease term?

Leases normally run for one year, sometimes with an option to renew.  Depending on the unit, we may be able to work with you on different terms.

  • How quickly can I move in?

We will work to get you moved in according to the timeline that works best for you. Your move in date depends on the status of the property you will be leasing.

  • What does the tenant portal do?

The Tenant Portal lets you pay rent online, view previous and upcoming payments, add renter’s insurance information when required, and submit or track maintenance requests. Available payment methods and any processing fees are disclosed in DoorLoop before you authorize a payment. Review those details before paying.

  • Why should I rent with you?

We are committed to providing fair, accurate information on the condition of every property.

We strive to ensure that all requests and questions are addressed in a fast, positive manner and to exceed your expectations.

We are ready to fulfill your property rental requests and assist you in every way possible.

  • If something is broken, will you fix it?

We will always fix everything that is our responsibility as outlined in your lease agreement.

If there are any damages that are not covered, please let us know and we may have a contractor that we can recommend.

  • How often is rent due and how can I pay it?

Rent is generally due on the first of each month. We prefer residents to make payments through the Tenant Portal using the available online payment methods. Certified funds may be accepted for the first payment when necessary. The payment terms for your specific tenancy will be stated in your lease and Tenant Portal.

  • How do I access my Tenant Portal?

You will receive an email invitation to activate your Tenant Portal. Through the portal, you can make payments, review your payment history, update renter’s insurance information when required, and submit or track maintenance requests.
